DriveAble Solutions, founded by Lynn Hedrick in 1999, helps people with disabilities get behind the wheel—or stay there safely. Our team brings deep experience across all types of disabilities and includes Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialists who are members of ADED. We evaluate, train, and recommend the right vehicle modifications for each individual. Because we focus only on Arizona, you can count on a thorough appointment quickly, without long waits. Safety always comes first. We rely on clinical and behind‑the‑wheel assessments grounded in current meta‑analysis driving research, so you get the latest, most efficient testing and move into rehabilitation sooner. With a range of vehicles available, we match each client to the physical and cognitive support they need for both evaluation and training.

  • Senior Drivers Program

    Senior screening program.

  • Adaptive Driving Program

    Our goal is to evaluate, train and prescribe adaptive equipment for people who need to drive their vehicles with special equipment. Many clients do not need equipment. We also help shop for vehicles that best fit our client’s needs. Please do NOT purchase a vehicle until we see you at our initial evaluation so we can better help you shop. We perform a clinical evaluation of vision, physical abilities, cognition, visual perception, topographical orientation, and then take you behind the wheel for additional evaluation of potential adaptive equipment needs.

  • Student Drivers Program

    We are able to take our students from start to finish with our driving program. This includes Motor Vehicle Department approved permit and driving certifications!

  • Vocational Rehabilitation

    Vocational Rehabilitation is a program that is offered by the state, and their ultimate goal is successful employment for people with disabilities. They frequently address driving when is it a barrier to someone’s independence. In certain situations, a Vocational Rehabilitation counselor can refer their clients for our services when they qualify. Please talk with your Vocational Rehabilitation counselor to see whether this is a service they can cover for you.
