Overview

The Truck Driving program at H. Councill Trenholm State Community College prepares students to operate vehicles that require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). This six-week, non-credit program follows the U.S. Department of Transportation’s model curriculum, guiding students from foundational handling to advanced tractor-trailer operation. Coursework also covers safe driving practices and essential non-driving responsibilities required of professional operators. Through intensive question-and-answer sessions and hands-on training, the program offers a streamlined, cost-effective path to earning your CDL.
